Jiří MACHAČ

Year 1965 - born in Ostrava. He has been playing the violin since childhood. He graduated from the conservatory in Ostrava and after graduation worked as a teacher of music at the Academy of Arts (LŠU). Already at an early age he was inclined to interpret musical folklore and went through a number of dulcimer music (The Ládi Collection Ševčík in Ostrava, Mezříčan in Valašské Meziříčí and, during military service, Jánošík Brno (today ONDRÁŠ)). To Technik music he arrived in the mid-80s of the last century (approx. 1985) and still works there as one of the primates of the ev. and tercas. His hobby is above all folk music of various regions of Slovakia.
